Is Quran a Source of Hate & Intolerance ?
One may wonder why Mohammed, whom Muslims consider a prophet, committed genocide of dozens of Arabian Tribes. One may also wonder why the subsequent Khalifs of Islam committed Genocides of Jews & Christians. The world is mutely asking a question to Human Rights as to why Khalifs of Islam committed the heinous genocide of the Parsis. And the worst of all…as to why the Muslim rulers who invaded India, committed repeated genocide of the Hindus.
The answers to all the above queries are simple…that hate and intolerance against the believers of other faiths and religions is enshrined in Quran believed to have been dictated by Mohamed. When Mohamed Rizvi had filed a writ petition in the Supreme Court of India, he might not have known the fallacies of the Indian Judiciary…that unless you have a ‘high fi’ advocate handling such issues, it is bound to fall flat. He or his advisors possibly did not think as to why the advocates such as Ram Jethmalani, Harish Salve, Aryaman Sundaram, K K Venugopal, Gopal Subramaniam, Ashok Desai, KTS Tulsi, Sibbal and some others charge fortunes as their fees to take-up a case esp those especially having relevance to the constitution of India.
There is no doubt at all that Quran spews venom against the believers of other faiths or religions. It terms them ‘non-believers or Kafirs’ and put them in a category drawing inhuman treatment and punishments. Mr Rizvi had approached the apex court to remove (or at least amend) only those 26 verses from Quran. However, there are at least 60 such verses in Quran which spit hate ( 60 Hateful and Intolerant verses of Quran; The Counterviews; Issue 4:03). Some of these are placed below but all those 60 verses are narrated in the article mentioned above:-
Ask a cleric in an Islamic nation where he does not have the obligation of trying to sound secular, he will interpret those 26 verses as Allah’s will to get rid of Kaffirs through one of the many forms of Jihad. However, clerics in the Non-Islamic States where Muslims are in minority, will try to skirt the issue, to sound secular though it is not. In India, ask 10 students knowing Arabic, 7-8 of them will interpret those verses as imparting punishments against the believers of other religions, polytheists and idol worshippers whom Quran terms as Kaffirs. In fact, Mohamed’s hate against the polytheists and idol worshippers were so intense that he committed genocides against them and vandalised thousands of idols incl >360 in Mecca itself, which is revered as the most sacred to the Muslims, a perfect example of Islamic hate and intolerance. These hates and intolerances against Jews, Christians, Zorostrians and the Polytheists are incorporated in Quranic verses itself. Quran deserves to be banned by the nations having respective State Religions.
Almost all of the Muslim rulers who came to India incl Tipu Sultan, wrote back to their masters and caliphs in Arab that they were killing the idolater Hindus for Islamic Jihad.
Hindus have suffered one of the worst Genocides at the hands of Muslim rulers owing to their hate that emanate from their religious book Quran and Hadith. Islamic genocide continues even in the modern days. Hindus & Sikhs have vanished from Pakistan and Afghanistan after it was declared the Islamic nation in the late 1950s. Kashmiri Pandits suffered Genocide in 1990 in independent India. Yezidis suffered genocide in 2014-15 in the hands of Muslims in Iraq. Nearly a lakh of Christians were massacred in Marawi island of the Philippines overnight after the Muslims declared it an ISIS state in May 2017. Christians have suffered similar genocide in the Middle-East countries that were investigated by British Secretary Germy Hunt in his report “Persecution of Christians coming close to genocide in Middle-East” (https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/may/02/persecution-driving-christians-out-of-middle-east-report); and there are numerous such examples in Africa and Arabian nations.
Quranic hate is not only against Hindu. Believers of all other faiths have faced genocides in the hands of Islam to the extent that they have vanished from most of the Islamic nations. In some, they are at the mercy of Muslims to whom they have to pay jajya to survive. It is so surprising as to how such satanic verses of hate and intolerance contained in the Quran are being preached and tolerated in India…or for that reason in any non-Islamic states. China, our neighbour, have already banned it and also banned the Quran from being preached to Muslims of less than 16 yrs of age as it preaches hate and intolerance in those tender minds. It is felt by many that all non-Islamic nations should follow the Chinese model of dealing with “Radical Islam and the hateful Quran”…and here comes the role of the Modi government. Most of Islamic terrorists have a very shallow idea of the Quran and all of them are brainwashed by their Mullahs to commit Jihad for having Islamic supremacy in the world. That is how Al-Baghdadi called for global jihad to get rid of the non-Muslims in order to create the Global Islamic Caliphate (Jihadi threats, ISIS, Al-Qaida and beyond; https://www.usip.org/sites/default/files/The-Jihadi-Threat-ISIS-Al-Qaeda-and-Beyond.pdf). Muslims all over the world were elated with this call. Thereafter, scores of new jihadi groups originated the world over whose only aim is to cause harm to the believers of other faiths, their temples and their customs. India too is severely affected by jihadi organisations both from within and outside, since late 1980s.
Mohamed Rizvi’s writ petition may have been dismissed but the basic belief of Quran & Hadith preaching hate and intolerance remains. The radical Muslims are bound to create greater problems in India as their population is huge, proliferating at 50% higher than Hindus. The Indian Home Minister and the Minister of religious affairs should seek direction from the Supreme Court of India to review all religious books of Hindus, Muslims, Christians and Sikhs if they preach discrimination, hate or intolerance. Manusmriti of Hindus is believed to contain such texts against other castes Hindus. Quran as mentioned, contains several verses that spit intolerance against the believers of other faiths, polytheists and worshippers of idols. Similarly, Bible and Gurugranth may also be reviewed so as to remove any doubt any partisan approach. A group of learned people may review all such books and suggest removal or amendments of texts, if any. India, or for that reason, no other nation should be subjected to religious hate spewed by their religious scriptures.
