Karim Khan Shames ICC
International Criminal Court (ICC) has been put to shame by an Islamist prosecutor named Karim Khan when he equated the Islamic terrorist organization Hamas with the State of Israel battling the extreme inhuman crimes of Hamas with genocidal intent. This guy, supposed to be a moderate Muslim, has misused his chair and office to firstly distort the events taking place in Gaza and secondly, willfully blurring the line between the cause and effect. Hence, his application to the ICC to seek persecution of Israeli PM in drawing equivalence with Hamas has drawn sharp criticism internationally. Many world level persecutors and law makers feel this guy Karim Khan deserves to be removed from the prestigious office of the ICC.
All Muslims having belief in Quran, are at least radicals if not extremist or terrorist. They are invariably hateful towards non-Muslims whom they call kaffirs. Karim Khan is also a preacher of Quran; hence, he can be highly vulnerable and biased against non-Muslims (such as Israel/Jews in this case). This biased mindset against non-Muslims in general, is the main reason why all Islamic nations and their Islamist nationals have committed almost complete genocides of their own non-Muslim populations (read “Quran incompatible for Secular Ethos”, https://thecounterviews.in/articles/quran-incompatible-for-secular-ethos-lessons-from-hamas/).
Karim Khan of Pakistani origin is well versed with Quranic hate and intolerances against fellow non-Muslims that is the root cause of ongoing genocides in Pakistan. On this account, no Islamist can be trusted upon. They have been inimical to the others right from the time of foundation of Islam in 7th century and will remain so in future too. This is also a logical assumption why no Islamic radical should be kept in a chair to judge the acts of people on radicalism of Islam. Such Islamists are bound to be biased. Karim Khan having firm belief in Quran is also an Islamic preacher and his decisions are bound to be biased against the believers of other religions and faiths in accordance with the verses of Quran that violate fundamental rights of people around the world (read “Gross Violation of Fundamental Rights”, https://thecounterviews.in/articles/gross-violation-of-indian-fundamental-rights-by-quran/). Karim Khan is not only biased, but he is also impulsively unpredictable that he manifested in is approach in Ukraine genocide too. He clearly has been a black spot on the reputation of the ICC.
Karim Khan’s contention in the present context in Israel-Hamas war must be rejected outrightly because he closed his eyes to the cause factor of “Inhuman Acts of Hamas Terrorists” that led to the Israeli reaction. Further, Karim Khan deliberately omitted to take congnisance of Iranian hands besides other State Actors in their acts of 7th Oct 23 that is comparable to genocide. It is unfortunate that civilians are becoming victim in Israeli action against Hamas but Karim Khan again omitted to take cognizance of how Gazan Islamists are using the civilians incl women & children as shields. It is other matter though that it is debatable who are innocent civilians in Gaza if there are some (read “Who are innocent civilian Palestinians?”, https://thecounterviews.in/articles/are-palestinians-innocent/). It is universally believed that all male Gazans in the age group of 11-70 yrs are among actual terrorists/Jihadists, cadres of Hamas/Islamic Jihad Council (IJC), its supporters or sympathisers. Women and children are invariably used as shields by the local Mullahs/Clerics. Hence, Karim Khan should have exercised these facts in deciding Israeli culpability of ‘War Crimes’ on Gaza civilians.
In a legal system, antecedents of alleged people/parties are invariably a part of deliberation but Karm again omitted to look at the background of Islamists whose sole aim have been to wipe out Zionism from “River to Sea” and Israel has been the victim in all but one attack (mentioned in the text box). Israeli Armed Forces has been a responsible body working in the interest of Palestinians whether in providing jobs for livelihood or letting the humanitarian aids to reach. This list also bears testimony to the fact that Islamists of Arab nations have largely been the aggressors, hell bent to commit genocide against the only Jew nation.
Sordid Act of Karim Khan
Karim Khan initiating the papers to arrest Israeli PM and Def Min and equate with the Jihadist criminals of Hamas for their 7th Oct 23 sordid acts, has done immense damages to the repute of the ICC. Surely, he would have followed it up with selective compilation of evidence that ICC may or may not agree. This could be the reason why there are wide condemnation of his act with the US even threatening to stop funding of the ICC. Being a lawyer, selectivism must be in his DNA to bolster a case. That enables documenting every piece of suitable evidence and ignore those showing the other side of the coin. He has done it earlier in the genocide carried out by ISIS in Iraq in diluting some of the cases to extent possible. He also attempted it in the context of Ukraine in framing Russia. Experienced in the act of selectivism, he is now doing it in Israel-Hamas war by diluting the cause factor’ of Hamas acts of 7th Oct 23 heinous crimes and reading Israeli retaliation with magnifying lenses. These are nothing but miscarriages of justice by the ICC. His selectivism also seems impulsive for which he has repeatedly been condemned even by Islamic nations in some instances. Surely, he lacks the prudence of ethical approach which is mandatory in criminal justice.
Individuals like Karim Khan are burden on international justice which has very limited scope of rectifying one’s errors. Although not essential, Karim’s DNA of Pakistan where justice is often denied/afflicted by the pressure groups, his acquired British nationality and some of the Royal accolades earned, may not have much significance. He is a man of lesser dignity and integrity; fir to be barred from the chairs of high repute.
