Muted UNHRC Response Encouraging Islamic Genocide

The UNHRC

UN Human Rights Council (UNHCR) dictates “we the peoples of the United Nations shall be determined to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war, to reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity of human, in the equal rights of men and women and to establish justice and to promote social progress and better standards of life”. Although with some exceptions, the track records of Human Rights in democratic nations have improved in the last 70 yrs, theocratic and some other States have become gross violators of Rights. In a simple assumption, all human should be borne free, given rights to grow, educate and practice his religion free of any discrimination whatsoever, rights to citizenship & employment and rights to marry & bring-up children. In Islam however, there are gross restrictions to many of such Rights.

Human Rights Violations in Islam

The bitter fact of today’s world is that there are several ravaging wars, sectarian violence, conflict of ideologies and a demonic approach towards expansion of a particular faith. Most of Islamic nations are at war with each others. Most of their nationals are facing Rights violation thru’ scourges of wars be it Yemen, Afghanistan, Syria, Egypt, Iraq and elsewhere. These are causing immense loss of humanity and endangering peace at all levels…individual, social, community and even national levels. An individual with a flawed militant ideology against another individual or community tries to attack them with all means, duly legitimized by their flawed faith. It is a shame for the world that there are scriptures like Quran having 6348 verses, most of which though lay good ethos for the believers of Islam, also preach hate & intolerance. Those hateful verses are interpreted by the Mullahs/Imams as per their convenience…radically intolerant when he wants to incite the Muslims; and making a veil of obscurity when want to escape laws. In short however, those hateful verses of Quran seem incompatible with democratic secularism, breaching the fundamentals of Human Rights.

Hindsight of the Islamic Discrimination

At hindsight however, there are reasons for the hate in Quran. Islam was founded by Mohamed in 7th century and imposed on the sparse masses of numerous Arabian Tribes in nomadic Bedouin ‘kin-related groups’, with each clan having own chiefs on whose patriarchal dictats their tribes acted upon. These nomads largely served as bodyguards to escort the caravans of larger groups trading with distant towns. Frequently raiding and looting other tribes for animals, women, gold, fabric were the commonly accepted norms. Whatever were the reasons, Mohamed forced his new faith called Islam, through a dictat of “Convert, Flee or Die” willingly through canvassing, else at the point of swords. What followed was a complete annihilation of those disunited tribes and civilisations, robbing them of their faiths. This is what the UN Human Rights defines as Genocide. Women in Islam are subservient to their masters and have very little rights. This ushered-in a new warrior faith of Islam which was and is invariably at conflict with most, if not all others…defying Human Rights. Tens of centuries after its foundation, Islam has been continuing with various degrees of genocides and persecution …AND WORSE…reputed international bodies like the UN, the UNHRC have been watching all these violations mutely since the times it came to existence. Islam claims itself to be considerate as it permits smaller, weaker groups of non-Muslim tribes to live in their surrounding at the payment of ‘jajya’, exemplifying its violation of equal rights on the basis of religion by taxing non-Muslims for their safety in Islamic nations.

It is not the objective of this article to single out Islamic nations for their religious intolerance however, it is a fact that most of the rights abuses in most parts of the world are by them against non-Muslims men and all women (incl Muslims). It is a matter of shame as to how such blatantly discriminating, hateful and intolerant Quranic verses are allowed being preached especially in democratic and secular nations. OIC Fooling the UNHRC

OIC nations in 1990 tried to twist the Human Rights mandate by inserting some of the Shariah clauses in their Cairo Convention, discriminatory and inimical to women and minorities of other faiths. With their sheer number, OIC tries to hoodwink the UNHRC every now and then. Very recently they have got a resolution passed on ‘Islamophobia’ in the world BUT have done nothing on religious persecution of minorities in Islamic nations. In the last 20 yrs, Mozambique, Kazakhstan, Surinam, Uzbekistan, Togo, Guyana and Ivory Coast with their Muslim % shown, have joined the Organisation of Islamic Countries (OIC) either lured or compelled by the neighbouring Islamic nations. Guyana was lured with easy-term financial assistance and in turn facilitate Islam. Md Irfan Ali was made President to please them. It is the OIC at the UN that has prevented defining of the terrorism as a result, no anti-terrorism measures are adopted. In effect, they are reluctant to define terrorism wherein they seek to exclude acts of violence carried out by non-state actors against foreign occupation, colonial, or alien domination. This means the >170 Islamic terrorist organisations (many having State protections) committing acts of violence will not amount to terrorism. OIC approach in low Muslim population States (like Guyana, Gabon, Uganda, Mozambique, Guyana etc) are very clear…Offer a small aid/fund and lure them by making them tow OIC lines, in obtaining their important votes for furthering the cause of Islam (that OIC does) and also use them as tools of propaganda (of helping non-Islamic nations). There are 24 such OIC nations shown below, having population of <10 million each (many even <1 million) representing at the UN and UN Human Rights Commission with their votes counted as one, at par with nations having >1400 million population. This is a paradox.

Islamic Genocides

The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in recent years and decades has become a mute spectator to the continuing atrocities and genocides by Islam esp in Asia and parts of Africa as mentioned in the text box below (text in red show extreme persecution).

In Asia, the ongoing Islamic persecution of religious minorities in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh has become almost a daily affair that has stopped unruffling UNHRC anymore. UNHRC watchdogs of Amnesty international and others are under severe pressure by the OIC not to report the severest forms of the ongoing genocides and Rights violations. As a result, the annual reports of these nations are let off by the UNHRC when the reporters claim that they are under threats of life and honour. Human Rights reports of Pakistan for several years prepared by reporters under threat of both terror groups and the police. They don’t mention the numerous atrocities on their religious minorities of Hindu, Sikhs and Christians by Radical Islamists and Terrorists under the protection of the State Administrations (read “Highly Biased Human Rights Report 2022: India vs Pakistan”; https://articles.thecounterviews.in/articles/highly-biased-human-rights-report-2022-india-vs-pakistan/). Hence, It is very apt for the world to point fingers at the UNHRC that if investigations can be initiated against Israel for using heavy hands against Islamic terrorists (Hamas & World Jihad Council), why not investigate the ongoing genocide of their religious minorities in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh? Every other day their women are abducted in broad daylight and forcibly married off to Muslims. Women of Afghanistan & Iran are being long persecuted for shunning Hijab. Why percentage of religious minority populations has been continuously depleting? It seems UNHRC doesn’t care a damn. In the Middle-East, the handful of remaining Christians are being persecuted by various Islamist groups for decades now. These persecutions are amounting almost to genocide as reported by a fact-finding commission under British Home secretary Jeremy Hunt. In fact, many of the Christian groups are caught in the cross-fire of the ongoing Sectarian violence of various Islamic Jihadi groups fighting among themselves like the Sunni vs Shia and so on. Almost all factions of Islam have adopted an aggressive and violent path to prove themselves as the real Islamists based upon the teachings of Quran. This has resulted in >170 Jihadist organisations fanning out in the Islamic nations, committing atrocities on both Muslims (of different sects) and non-Muslims in order to impose own ideologies.

Presently, Islamic intolerance against non-Muslims has become more prominent because of ISIS cleric Al-Baghdadi’s call for a global Islamic caliphate in 2014, to convert the entire world in to Islam. This requires smothering of all other religions, prominent among them the peace-loving Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and to large extent, Christianity. Christians of course, retaliated through Crusade in the medieval past when it became too much BUT Hindus/Sikhs have not retaliated despite numerous genocides. Hindus experienced these extremely painful ordeals in medieval times as well as during pre-independence period (a few such acts are mentioned below).

Continuing Intolerance of Islam

They impose Islam through Jihad. This is where Islamic atrocities and barbarism are manifest through mainly two means. Firstly, increase the population of Muslims in ghetto living and secondly, compel the non-Muslims in those ghettos to “Convert, Flee or Die”. Once in a dominant number, they try to turn the state into Islamic one. These tactics have turned numerous states into Islamic nation, 47 of them by now. Thereafter, so much of atrocities are committed on the non-Muslims that they vanish/perish and no Human Right organization has ever frowned or investigated. In the present days Afghanistan, Pakistan & Bangladesh are burning examples.

In the 20th century, several Muslim attacks on Indian Hindus strengthen the belief that Islam was, is and will always remain inimical to them. It must be acknowledged that some of their killings also caused retaliation by Hindus BUT those were only reaction to their actions. Islamists’ genocidal intent and acts are not confined to Hindus. Immense Hindu sufferings under Islam may be the reason of why so many voices for the UNHRC actions against intolerant & barbaric Islam are emanating from India. It is not without reason though. In medieval times immense persecution of Christians, Jews and Parsis too were tales of Islamic apathies. Even in recent decades, barbaric Islamic acts were evident in Sinjar province of Iraq where Yezidis men were massacred and women made sex slaves by ISIS. A similar phenomenon of Islamic barbarism was also witnessed in Marawi province of the Philippines when ISIS men overrun the province overnight and seventy thousands of non-Muslims were forced to convert or killed in the next few days. We witnessed the worst form of Islamic violence on USA in the form of Al-Qaida attack on the twin towers. In recent times, we are witnessing increasing numbers of Islamic fascism and violence in France, Austria, India, USA, Sri Lanka, Australia, Nigeria, Sudan, Somalia, CAR and so on. ​The erstwhile 9.8% Muslims of India in 1951 are now near 20% (incl the illegal Migrant Bangladeshi and Rohingya Muslims), fast changing the religious demography of the nation. Native Hindus in Muslim majority localities are being threatened to convert of flee. Once in substantial percentage population, they start disregarding national values… law of the land, favour Islamic separatism and terrorism…and favour the Islamic law ‘Sariat’. From the above factual descriptions, it is evident that Islamic book Quran, while preaching reasonably good ethos among Muslims, is highly discriminatory, hateful and intolerant to the non-Muslims of the world. Those Quranic verses even if just 60, must not be permitted to be preached esp in non-Islamic and secular nations. Radical Islam has overtly grown in recent years after Al-Baghdadi’s call for Global Islamic Caliphate. Islamic nations having Shariah rule and >170 Jihadist organisations in the world are committing gross Human Rights Violations of the non-Muslims as well as Muslims of other sects. The violations are in all forms, of all clauses of the Human Rights charter. It is unfortunate that UNHRC has turned a blind eye to the ongoing atrocities and genocides by them. Persecution of religious minorities are extreme in some of Islamic nations amounting to genocide. All these must be taken note of, investigated transparently and the culprits brought to the books.

Concluding Thoughts

There are several types of Human Rights Violations going on the world over, ranging from minor offences to gross genocidal violence. If one major cause of these violence is to be singled out, it is Quran preaching Islamic intolerance & atrocities, barbarism and genocide. Those 60 discriminatory and intolerant verses must be removed from Quran or else, Quran should be banned in all secular and non-Islamic nations.

Religious minorities are under persecution in the Islamic nations, dwindling and vanishing (in 43 of the 47 nations) over several decades BUT they have never been investigated or implicated. Presently, genocidal and immense persecution of religious minorities are going on in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Nigeria, Sudan, Somalia and so on. It is unfortunate that under possible OIC pressure, UNHRC has not instituted a single independent & transparent inquiry. OIC with its 57 member nations has been a stumbling block. After 2014 call for a global Islamic Caliphate, Islamic fascism and Jihadi acts all over the world have become troublesome; that must be confronted by all members of the UNHRC which is fast losing its credibility.

UNHRC must screen and filter out the annual reports of all theocratic states as well as those democratic nations where violent Jihadi organisations are being sheltered. It is an open secret that the Amnesty workers in those member nations are either biased or threatened by the Jihadists/State machineries against reporting of gross rights violations. One nation one vote in the council that equates a small country of a million with those having 1400 million, must be reviewed/reformed.
