Rahul Gandhi stands today as a totally transformed person. He has become the voice of political opponents of PM Modi. Almost the entire opposition parties in the Union govt merely repeat what he says. He has grossly reformed his image from Pappu (a child) to a cunning political assassin. His target is just one man, PM Narendra Modi. It appears that he has become psyche, apparently of schizoid personality in which Modi is always in his mind. He and his courtiers have just one figure before them whom they want to defeat both in person and polity, by whatever means possible. He and his close advisors are unable to digest as to how a common man like Narendra Modi with a humble background can become such a tall figure not only in India but on the world stage. Kept away from governance due to crushing defeats of Congress, he and his team keeps conspiring day & night against Modi to show him down. In doing so, he and his team has gained limited success too.

Narendra Modi is a tall figure in Indian politics, working day and night, 18 hrs every day for the betterment of the nation and its nationals. He comes from the cadres of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) which in general, have dedicated their lives in the service of the nation. Firstly, he transformed Gujarat, his home state as Chief Minister with Development Works done in the state that become an example for the nation, known as Gujarat model. Rahul’s predecessor Sonia Gandhi had earlier tried to suppress the voice and rise of Narendra Modi while he was the Chief Minister of the state. She compelled the then Congress party to try all means at the center to finish his political carrier. However, Modi emerged even stronger to take the center stage in the union government with thumping majority in 2014 as PM. Now Modi is transforming India selflessly for good and that is why most Indians love him. Some of the enemies of India having received bloody nose, are scared of him. India under Modi is progressing well towards self-reliance and prosperity.

History & Geography of Rahul Gandhi fabricating “Lies & Dis-information”

Rahul Gandhi had first experimented with fabricated Lies & Dis-information against Modi in 2017 Gujarat Election with allegations of receiving kickbacks from Sahara when he was the Chief Minister of the State. This allegation in all probability was to distract the voters’ attention from the Augusta Westland kickback investigation against Sonia Gandhi. Accompanied with two SC/ST leaders (Jignesh Mewani & Alpesh Thakur) he also raised a divisive pitch that BJP was anti-Dalit while the facts were otherwise. At that time Rahul Gandhi was Vice-President of Congress. With those fabricated narratives, he and his UPA tried to dent Modi’s image that Supreme Court of India dismissed later, calling it as an attempt to insinuation. However, before SC’s verdict came, damage was already done and BJP was reduced to thinnest of the margins of electoral success in the state while the expectations were of sweeping the poll.

Riding on the previous success of fabricated ‘Lies & Dis-information’ in Gujarat, Rahul Gandhi again experimented with it in 2018 Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh elections with his narrative of “Chowkidar Chor Hai” contemplating wrong-doings in Rafale G2G purchase. BJP was taken by surprise and their SC advocates seemed lazy to get the case heard on priority. Before SC verdict came asking Rahul Gandhi to apologize for his lies, damage was already done. Besides, Congress party has been known for false electoral promises for decades. The party is known as the mother of Jumlas. Rahul Gandhi has been building up this image with his “#Pappu_Lies” on the social media. His false electoral promises to the farmers of waving-off the loans, Rs 3500/- monthly unemployment allowance to the youth, pensions to all elderly farmers, food-processing units by farm-sides and so on. Knowledgeable people expected Rahul Gandhi’s false poll promises to provide a free ride to moon. He made electoral manifesto a joke.

BJP had lost in all those three states. Although Rahul Gandhi tried to do the same mischief in 2019 Lok Sabha election, SC verdict nullified his “Lies & dis-information” and Modi emerged as victor even with greater majority.

By 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Rahul Gandhi and his team was well experienced in fabricating newer “Lies & Dis-information” with reasonable confidence of its success. There was a very high probability of Modi govt sweeping 2024 LS election. This was the reason why all opposition parties of the union govt joined hands with sole aim to defeat Modi. Rahul Gandhi and his team was ready to play their old game of fabricating lies with sure success. They fabricated several sets of newer “Lies & Dis-information” for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Although many of those narratives were evidently false, the corrupt political parties forming new I.N.D.I.A were hopeful that shouting those allegations with 26 mouths (of 26 political parties) repeatedly day & night, may play the trick and it did so. Modi’s BJP was prevented from getting the expected sweeping majority on their own and NDA was shrunk to under 300 seats. Modi alone was unable to counter the offensive mounted by team I.N.D.I.A led by Rahul Gandhi. The other partners of NDA didn’t have their voices loud enough to be heard & appreciated, or countering the false narratives created by the opposition. • Indian Democracy is in danger. Modi is an autocrat.
• Indian Constitution is in danger, institutions undermined.
• Modi will take away reservations for OBC, SC, ST.
• Modi has failed on all fronts and done nothing.
• Modi has given unemployment to the youths of India.
• Modi has created high inflation to the country and poor people are dying. 
• Modi is anti-Muslim.

It is very unfortunate that election 2024 having gone past, the narratives of Lies and Dis-information have not stopped. Just recently, Rahul Gandhi was back in business in Kerala with his fresh Lies, saying Modi will not let Tamils speak their language, permit Keralite to eat Dosa, celebrate festivals or the likes of. Now he has stoked another controversy on the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) based on a heresay from his advisors abroad that it could be hacked. It appears quite obvious that Rahul Gandhi may end one day but his controversies will not. As long as this naive boy of Indian politics is alive, controversies created by his 'Lies & Dis-information' will continue to remain. The most unfortunate part is that either he has no brains or if he has some, he doesn't apply it. It is deplorable for the Indian law & order machineries at both state and the union govts as to why they don’t take action against this chronic liar spreading hate and divisive narratives.

Congress provides wide publicity to everything that Rahul Gandhi does or speaks. It has own mouthpiece of newspaper and TV Channel. Its toolkit of publicity in both digital & social media is well supported both in India and abroad. One must remember that his mother Sonia Gandhi was reported by Washington Post as 4th richest women politician in the world, richer than queen Elizabeth, with massive ill-gotten money stacked mostly abroad. These black money is believed to have been used to boost Rahul’s political image in his two pan-India march costing approx. Rs 700 Cr. In the same way, his lies and dis-information get wide publicities to influence the voters.

Some Leaders Generating Hate Speech & Controversies

The run-up to the 2024 LS Election has been eventful with some forging and separating alliances, some isolated statements that were blown up beyond sizes to draw maximum milage out of it. Two such statements came out from BJP leaders, Anant Hegde justifying for the 400 paar with intention to change constitution and P Rupala casting oblique aspersions on Rajputs. It is widely believed that BJP paid dearly for these statements that made them to go on defensive. Similarly, many such indulgence were committed by the opposition parties. Tamilnadu minister Udaynidhi Stalin made hate-speech against Sanatan Dharma and by Rahul Gandhi against ‘Shakti (Maa Durga)’ of Hindu Dharma that put I.N.D.I.A coalition on a collision course with many Hindus (read “Abuses on Sanatan…”, https://thecounterviews.in/articles/abuses-on-sanatan-dharma-by-dmk-and-christians-in-tamil-nadu/). There were also statements by Cong leaders calling to kill Modi, Rahul Gandhi had earlier equating Hindus with radical Muslim brotherhood of Egypt and RSS with Taliban; and that anger still persists.

Many pundits of Indian polity always felt that the ‘Pappu’ in Rahul Gandhi lacked the basic intellect and skills to successfully maneuver such game-changing political conspiracies. During and after elections, Rahul Gandhi and his ‘evil associates’ had a false sense of victory and started daydreaming with ambitious revenges against Modi. Lalu, a convicted ‘Chara Chor’ out on medical bail, said Modi is finished. His daughter Misha Bharti announced that Modi will be put in jail after election. Mamata said Modi will bite the dust. Akhilesh Yadav predicted that Modi would flee the country after defeat. Rahul Gandhi predicted that Modi’s defeat was for sure. Kejriwal predicted that NDA will be restricted to 200. Fortunately, that was not to be. Indian voters re-elected Modi for the third tenure.

What if Opposition in 1950s, 60s & 70s had Divisive leader like Rahul Gandhi

Lies & Dis-information getting prominent space in political domain is relatively new phenomena in Indian politics. If there had been a liar politician as effective as Rahul Gandhi, in the 50s, 60s and 70s, Congress leaders like Nehru and Indira Gandhi could have been defeated very easily. Late 70s saw JP uniting the opposition parties against hegemony of Congress forming Janta party, just like what I.N.D.I.A is today. However, there is a stark difference between the two. The former could beat Congress after Emergency was lifted in 1977 with thin margin but importantly, Communists and Islamists were not a part of that coalition. On the contrary, the latter had almost all constituents of the opposition incl Communists, Islamists and many regional parties. Yet, they could not match NDA which secured absolute majority. Besides, there used to be sensible opposition leaders those years who followed political ethics unlike Rahul Gandhi and didn’t practice hateful and divisive politics.

Future Gimmiks

Lok Sabha election 2024 was not the end of #PappuLies. It was only the beginning of coordinated lies and dis-information by his team and toolkit together. No doubt, with the reputation of corruption that Congress carries incl that in the present Karnataka govt, they deserved far less LS seata than they could get. On the contrary, they could wrest many seats from BJP which was supposed to get 300+, only because team Modi couldn't adopt a timely counter-narrative of #PappuLies.

In the present lull period before another State election, congress toolkit must be planning new gimmiks of another sets of lies and dis-information. While the elderly netas of BJP may be trying to realise/asses which lies & dis-information of Congress duly supported by other constituents of I.N.D.I-alliance brought down their tally to 240 seats in LS, young croock in Congress toolkit surely will be readying with new sets of #PappuLies. Amit Shah and JP Nadda may be thinking that they have gone one up by nailing Congress and INDI-alliance in the parliament or in the onging BJP rallies for murdering/abusing Constitution of India in the past, Rahul Gandhi and his toolkit of I.N.D.I.A will surely be ready with another sets of lies before State elections of Hariyana and J&K. This cat and mouse game is likely to continue in future too. Afterall, Indian electorates have proven that Pappu of politics can fool them easily with false narratives.

The Bottom lines

It is a reality that the present generation politics is much different from the past. It is another reality that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has graduated from ‘Pappu’ to a cunning politician and an experienced liar in Indian politics spreading dis-information. With his ‘lies & dis-information’ he had succeeded in denting the vote share of BJP in Gujarat 2017 elections even if partially. It became his pet approach in the subsequent elections too. As secrets leak out, foreign agencies are believed to have contributed both funds and ideas to opposition parties of Modi govt. Despite almost the entire opposition incl communists & Islamists joining hands to defeat Modi govt, they could not. All these make it quite clear that Modi’s mantra of 400+ was possibly feasible had the fake narratives of “Lies & Dis-information” not been yelled and practiced by 26-mouthed I.N.D.I.A. In all, in the present Indian politics, Rahul Gandhi (along with his team, both Indian & foreigners) is best in fabricating “Lies & Dis-information”. It may also be the time to take action against this hate-mongering and divisive politician.

It may be only the beginning of successful fake narratives in elections through lies & dis-information. It can be expected that before BJP-led NDA ralises what hit them in the Lok Sabha election 2024, team Rahul Gandhi along with his toolkit and INDI-alliance will be ready with another set of lies & dis-information in the coming State elections that will again catch NDA unaware and unprepared. It can be said with reasonable certainty that Rahul gandhi has transformed into a best liar in Indian politics, fabricating fake narratives at will.
